• DB80 LX: Low-profile disposable microtome blade with a special coating recommended for a wide range of tissue types from routine biopsies to dense and harder tissues.
• DB80 LS: Low-profile disposable microtome blade recommended for routine soft tissue and thin sectioning.
• DB80 HS: High-profile disposable microtome blade recommended for all routine specimens in room temperature and cryo-sectioning.

The Leica 800 Series features a larger cutting edge, allowing the microtomists to use the full length of the microtome blade.
