Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP)

Antigen Background

Alpha Fetoprotein（AFP）は、体液中にみられる70kDの癌胎児性抗原であり、高値を示した場合に臨床的意義があります。AFPは胎児の肝臓で発現していますが、正常成人組織には存在していません。一部の胚細胞腫瘍（とくに卵黄嚢腫瘍では高頻度）で発現することが報告されています。
