CCND1 / IGH t(11;14) Fusion probe hybridized to a normal interphase/metaphase (2R2G).

RUO - CCND1 / IGH Fusion

Mantle cell lymphoma is a subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma characterized by poor prognosis. Cytogenetically t(11;14) is associated with 75% of mantle cells lymphomas. The translocation breakpoints are scattered within the 120 kb region adjacent to CCND1 (previously known as BCL1). The translocation leads to overexpression of cyclin D1 due to juxtaposition of the Ig heavy chain gene enhancer on 14q32 to the cyclin D1 gene on 11q13. The CCND1 / IGH t(11;14)(q13;q32) specific FISH probe is optimized to detect the reciprocal translocation t(11;14) in a dual-color, dual-fusion assay.
