NovoPen is designed to minimize wastage of reagents by allowing the user to ring the tissue(s) or cells to be stained thereby localizing the staining reagents.
The pen contains a light blue hydrophobic reagent which is soluble in commonly used clearing agents, eg xylene and xylene substitutes.
It can be used in immunostaining techniques on paraffin sections, frozen sections and on cytology preparations and is insoluble in alcohol and acetone.
NovoPen is compatible with enzyme or fluorescent-based detection systems.
The pen is supplied as a single item together with a product datasheet.
