Antigen Background
CD7は、40kDの膜結合型糖タンパクで、T細胞の分化段階の最も初期から発現し、分化を通してその発現が持続します。CD7の機能と役割についてはいまだ十分には明らかにされていませんが、γ/δ受容体を介するT 細胞の活性化が提唱されています。CD7は、大多数の末梢血T細胞、ナチュラルキラー細胞および胸腺細胞に認められることが報告されています。
