The SS18 (18q11) Break - XL for BOND FISH probe detects genomic translocations involving the SS18 gene. SS18 (18q11) Proximal - XL and SS18 (18q11) Distal - XL are optimized to detect genomic regions proximal and distal to break points in the SS18 gene region.
When combined, both probes are used to detect translocations involving the SS18 gene at 18q11.
