BOND-PRIME Epitope Retrieval Solution 2 is a ready-to-use, EDTA-based pH 9 epitope retrieval solution for the heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue on the BOND-PRIME system.

The use of a HIER pretreatment on FFPE tissue on BOND-PRIME restores epitopes that have been modified by formalin fixation, allowing accessibility of the primary antibody to the epitope.
