The preformed blocks fit easily into the paraffin chamber of the Leica PELORIS Tissue Processor and will melt faster than pellets or flakes.

Once the chamber is filled with the solid paraffin blocks, there is no need for the technician to return later to determine the paraffin volume and add additional paraffin.

May reduce risks since solid blocks are designed to help prevent pellet spills and the need to transfer molten paraffin.
