EGFR (7p11) / SE7 (D7Z1) – XL for BOND

The EGFR (7p11) / SE 7 (D7Z1) for BOND FISH probe detects genomic amplifications involving the EGFR gene. EGFR (7p11) - XL is optimized to detect copy numbers of the EGFR gene region at 7p11. SE 7 (D7Z1) is optimized to detect copy numbers of the centromere region of chromosome 7.

When combined, both probes are used to detect amplifications of the EGFR gene at 7p11, with the centromere probe as control.
