BOND-PRIME Epitope Retrieval Solution 1 is a ready-to-use, citrate-based pH 6 epitope retrieval solution for the heat-induced epitope retrieval (HIER) of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue on the BOND-PRIME system.

The use of a HIER pretreatment on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue on BOND-PRIME restores epitopes that have been modified by formalin fixation, allowing accessibility of the primary antibody to the epitope.
