The Leica 819 low-profile disposable blade provides a consistently sharp cutting tip suitable for cutting a variety of tissues such as biopsies and routine soft tissue.

The rectangular shaped corners allow the microtomist to use the full length of the microtome blade for sectioning. The dispenser alignment pin allows direct loading into suitable blade holders.

For use with Leica Biosystems microtomes classified and labeled as medical devices for histological medical diagnosis, e.g. cancer diagnosis.
